Some people in some countries have woken up to see that the answer to fossil fuel prices and emissions is to speed up renewables and storage, but clearly some wierdly think we could be more secure with more fossil fuel. Presumably the unwoke not thinking straight.

The Government can help lower the cost of public EV charging by changing archaic 1994 VAT legislation written before electric cars were even prototypes. This tax law isn’t fit for purpose and unfairly penalises those on low incomes. Cut the VAT on public charging from 20% to 5%. @fairchargeuk will be presenting a letter to the Chancellor soon.
