Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 President Ibrahim Traoré has responded to people who mocked the country’s locally made armoured vehicles.

He said some people were quick to call the vehicles fake because they did not believe Black people could build them.

Traoré explained that Burkina Faso started working on the project in 2023, failed at first, but has now produced working Made-in-Faso models.

He also pointed out that even major countries do not make every single part of their vehicles themselves. Burkina Faso used to buy French armoured vehicles for about CFA 500 million each.
