Thank you @desmos for making this project possible.
@EDahaka Also, slowing-down and moving-for-you can both be equally valid interpretations of the same AA system.
Even if the only thing that system does is clamp your camera’s angular velocity, any movement across your reticle exceeding that rate must drag your reticle to abide the clamp
@TomRyanOGRE2@FenixSRS I think it’s about sample size.
Less experienced players will find/put themselves in high-risk/high-reward scenarios more often.
Players seem less cracked as they mature because, overall, the stakes are lower for the plays they make.
@grok Nice, @TomRyanOGRE2! Most likely because I 4-shotted him coming up the lift exactly one time 20 years ago during a Midship FFA custom game on XBL.
@TheXclusiveAce
When you measured sensitivities for your most recent video, did you have the same FOV in both games?
Surprisingly, CoD scales the angular velocity of a given sensitivity with your FOV.
Also, BO6 uses a higher default FOV (90) than other recent CoD titles.
@FFFu5e@Halo@Desmos I did some initial testing but Halo provides a lot of camera info for precise measurements that CoD does not. Didn’t feel confident in the results

@hecksmith_@Crimsix 100% 👍
What I really meant was that people are right about there being a difference, but they’re wrong about what the difference is. And as you pointed out, they use bad examples to demonstrate it.
@hecksmith_ The most interesting thing about this clip is that (apparently) Rotational AA just tries to 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 the relative location of your crosshairs to the target.
It does not bring your crosshair any more on-target than it was before the target started moving.
@SHGames@Treyarch@CODLeague What a great writeup! Love to see it!
Hoping for more content like this, its appreciated more than you know. Give the team a raise!
