🚨 Anthropic just showed a 27-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.

The best developers I've worked with have habits that are honestly annoying.
After working with a few over the years, I've got to admit maybe that's why they're exceptional.
Here are the habits I kept seeing:
↓
Let's say your backend looks like this:
👤 User
⬇️
🖥️ Your Monolith
⬇️
💳 Paystack
📱 Twilio
⚡ VTPass
📧 Resend
The code is still one deployment.
But every request now depends on computers you don't own or control.
Self-hosted rewards predictability.
Cloud rewards not needing to predict.
If you know your traffic, self-hosted wins on cost and control.
If traffic can spike with zero warning, cloud wins. You can scale in minutes.
100k overnight users isn't a "which do I prefer" question. It's the exact scenario the cloud exists for. AWS, easily.
Studying competitors is a no-brainer.
Having competitors is actually a good sign it validates that there is demand for the problem you are solving.
I look at their features, pricing, and, most importantly, what their users are saying in Play Store/App Store reviews, social media posts, and comments. The complaints usually reveal the biggest opportunities.
Then I differentiate instead of copying.
What about you, how did you study your competitors?
Great point.
Not all personal data needs field-level encryption. Passwords should always be hashed, but email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses are often stored unencrypted because applications need to search, index, and retrieve them efficiently.
Before encrypting a column, I think the better question is:
Do I need to put an extra lock on this specific piece of data, or is locking the database and carefully controlling who can access it already enough?
Security isn't about encrypting everything; it's about choosing the right protection for the sensitivity of the data and how your application needs to use it.
Eventually you'll realize communication matters just as much as code.
Explaining trade-offs.
Asking for context.
Writing clear PRs.
Keeping teammates aligned.
These skills compound faster than clever code.
The real backend interview starts after you're hired.
Passing the interview proves you can code.
Your first few months prove you can engineer.
Here's how life after a successful interview goes:
I provide High-quality printing for brands that want to stand out.
Flyers • Banners • Business Cards • Branding Materials and lots more
If the algorithm show you my designs, don’t forget to like, repost and leave a comment/review.
@LASUOfficial What is going on with conversion students results as it is obviously not part of the chat. How can students be through with academics for close to 2 years and yet to graduate? @followlasg@jidesanwoolu sir, kindly assist intervene.
@fijnigeria
@LASUOfficial When will conversation students get their certificates after having written their final exams over a year? How will they be happy to market LASU to conversation program prospects?
@LASUOfficial So conversion result is not part of the VC's plans... It's very unfortunate that after almost four years graduates of conversion programme are yet to be cleared. The worst part of it is no one is saying anything about it. Hope our school fees and time wasted won't be in vain.
@LASUOfficial Questions about LASU conversion students were not answered. It's been over a year now since we wrote our final exams. And not a single conversion student has been cleared to graduate. @LASUOfficial
