Idk about "Oregon Food Bank" as an organization. I have a decent paying job with the postal service and the cost of living is so high here and I make too much for SNAP I have to go to food banks to feed my family. The food seems like its mostly stuff that is about to expire donated from grocery stores. The welfare system is definitely a scam and I would not be suprised if the food bank system is corrupt too. I am grateful for it, but I would be better of if the state would just let me keep my money.

I work for the postal service. The cost of living in Oregon is so high I have to go to food banks to feed my family. And ofcourse I make too much for food assistance. But at least there are not junkies passed out in the streets and my taxes dont go to healthcare for illegal immigrants.
