@wildrosetang This is part of why I respect Nami INFINITELY more than Robin. She had such a fucked up life, but not once did she ever use that as an excuse to torment innocent people who'd done nothing for her own benefit.
Right before this there are decently lit shots of them by the fire at night, this episode focuses on Sokka not wanting to hate Suki because hangups with Yue.
The darkness due to the lack of the moon is the point.
That said both live action suck.
@hernandy_s Netflix is hilarious for this, they literally have a good example of how a nighttime scene should look with one piece and they still make their show look like that 💀
@sanji_joestar I get celestial dragons do that, Charlos had 13 wives, and I can understand not hiding from that fact, but it just feels a little too outside the usual scope.
Although we now know Imu made a 15 year girl old his ageless vessel and servant so cd’s are abusing women regardless
@sanji_joestar The straightforward answer is she was a resident who did just love Reuven, to get a celestial dragon happy she was coerced into sex, once he left she married Reuven, maybe she wanted to keep her daughter and got fog killed.
But idk if it’ll be that simple
@sanji_joestar Yeah like was the fog an earlier wave of government attack at an initial refusal to hand over Shuri?
Or do Shuri and Loki possess the magical weather eyes that summon island ruining weather but like only sometimes
@sanji_joestar Reuven was clearly not honest but considering he was very obviously domi reversi’d right before he died and the people giving Shuri the info are a god knight, a gorosei, and Imu
I’m a tad suspicious of the whole thing
I like that this is just people repeatedly being unable to comprehend that American kids are more likely to play basketball than soccer because they don’t want to get hit by a car
Gonna be honest, I used to think less of soccer guys. Like, it felt a little arrogant and purposely countercultural, you understand the flows of the beautiful game and the rest of us don’t, you did a semester abroad and drink wine at lunch, la dee dah
I still feel that way tbh
So let me get this straight…
A drama about a fictional government agency stepping into schools to deal with violent bullies is causing outrage because it supposedly promotes violence and portrays schools negatively? 😭
At this point, it feels like some people are more offended by the bullies getting punished than by the bullying itself. 😂🍿
I haven’t even watched Teach You a Lesson yet and the discourse is already giving me a headache. 😭
