I got into anime and jpop before I started listening to kpop in 2014. japan is doing this to themselves. There are artists who arent even on music platforms😭
If you isolate and don't make simple things accessible for international fans, then ppl are going to look elsewhere+
Since there seems to be very little awareness about LaDS official events involving cosplayers especially from the global side of the fandom, please read this as a form of educating yourself.
The cosplayers are very well-compensated professionals who receive proper training so they fully understand what the role entails and how to portray the LIs. Not only do they need to fit a certain aesthetic (aided by makeup artists of course), they also need to be well-versed on canon lore.
Staff members are stationed throughout to provide support and ensure nothing escalates inappropriately, backed by security personnel.
Every aspect is carefully regulated—from permissible requests to approved props. Players also receive clear briefings on acceptable behavior and strict boundaries. It’s notable to mention that you almost always need a CN-registered phone number (which you can only get with proper identification) to obtain a ticket to these events, so there’s very little incentive for attendees to act out of line because you would probably be hauled off to the police and ruin your social credit score.
So when you see a cosplayer carrying one of these girls or pretending to be intimate, it means all parties have consented to that interaction. Nobody is being coerced or pressured.
The cosplayers are also anonymous, they have to sign an NDA and ensure they do not carry over any LI/LaDS associations to their own personal channels. Of course there are a small number of players who try to uncover their real identities, but this is generally frowned upon by the larger community.

i'm gonna become the ""pick a god and pray" is still one of the most raw lines in history and it comes from fire emblem of all things" guy but for the fates opening cuz CHILLS WARNING
This is the reason I do not accept every fan theory I see on the TL. I read it myself first, and then, if I agree, I check the analysis and if I don’t, I mute those posts.
Sylus is the manipulative demon. The whole summoning ritual and MC making a deal with him mirrors their first meeting in the N109 Zone how he craves to resonate with her and loses control when his “wife” resents him and does not remember him. Why is everything related to Sylus always about his passion, his uncontrolled desires.
The way some people are reacting just because, for months, they thought and fought with fellow players for wings and an angel theme. use your brain. Sylus is already BAD.
He does not have to fall from grace and then become bad. He needs just one acceptance, one love, and he’ll be devoted to that person forever. MC always shows him that, and that is why she is enough for him. He doesn’t have to prove himself to the world
He just needs love. Someone to understand him, someone to see him for the soul he is underneath, and not the monster he appears to be on the outside. Just one person: us (MC).
The roses signifies that ,
Something so beautiful, yet full of thorns; its scent so strong that a lady is willing to wound her precious hands just to take a single whiff.🥀
people who are saying this take is *dehumanizing* fictional characters are precisely the ones who need to understand the most. fictional characters can be deeply human but they are not people
Twitter fandoms in general need to be educated on the topic of fandom etiquette. I'm so tired of seeing people cry victim after actively poking at a hornet's nest and getting upset after they find out that those hornets sting when aggravated.
With the way Infold behaves, it’s sometimes difficult to believe that this is a million dollar corporation we’re talking about, and not some indie developer that’s just starting out and has been caught up in their first game unexpectedly blowing up.
I thought it was a business 101 that the first priority for any profitable venture is to build a loyal customer base, but if 2025 is any indication it seems that Infold has decided to double down on maximising short-term profit over long-term customer relationships, banking on our emotional investment in the LI’s to keep us tied to the game and assuming that’s enough. It feels very amateurish to me to operate a business that way, when long-term customer loyalty and word-of-mouth endorsements result in more profit over time.
Infold’s complete lack of communication and transparency towards their player base is something that has annoyed me for a long time. The same issues that were being raised a year ago are still left unaddressed in any way, and the list of valid concerns has only gotten longer, without any acknowledgement.
And being in competition amongst each other only hurts the player base. Sylus and Caleb lacking a lot of base content is a valid complaint. The nerfed release of KOD is a valid complaint. The lighting issues for darker MC’s is a valid complaint. The lopsided scheduling that puts a huge strain on the resources of one particular group of mains at a time instead of having a balanced rotation of LI-content releases is a valid complaint. The fact that our farmable growth resources have not increased despite TWO NEW LI’s is a valid complaint. The shortage of renewable diamond income is a valid complaint.
The fact that Infold flat out refuses to address any of the above despite their player base bringing it up repeatedly for MONTHS is a valid complaint! None of these complaints negate the validity of the next!
Yes, LADS is a fun game. The devs deserve our support. Yes, gacha is an inherently predatory mechanism, and every player should be aware of that. And yes, Infold is a business, and their main objective is raking in and maximising profit.
But understanding all that does not mean that players speaking out about all the ways in which Infold falls short should be silenced, belittled, dismissed or even ridiculed. In the end, we are users and customers of their product, and we are allowed to speak out about our dissatisfaction.
It baffles me that there is such a large number of people within the player base that will wave away just about any concern or complaint by saying “that’s just how gacha games are” and defend Infold like they’re on the payroll. I have personally never seen such loyalty to any other company, and I will never not find it weird and misplaced.
I love this game a lot. I spend money because I’m able to, and because I believe in supporting the things that bring me joy. But just because you enjoy something doesn’t mean you can’t critique it. Most complaints stem from a desire for improvement and MORE enjoyment for ALL players, and a wish to see the game thrive.
Yes, the game has already seen improvements in the past two years. That deserves acknowledgement. But just because certain things have been addressed doesn’t mean we should now “suck it up” and let everything else slide.
In the infamous IGN article Infold’s statement reads: ‘At Infold Games, we’ve always believed that our games are shaped together with the players who love them. The community’s feedback (…) is what keeps Love and Deepspace evolving and alive.’
I have been told over and over to “just be patient” and that things will get better “eventually” whenever I expressed any dissatisfaction, but a company that flat out refuses to even communicate with their player base (and actively censors them on their social media platforms!) deserves to be called out, and not the prolonged courtesy of patience and goodwill from their players without any indication of mutual respect.
HORRIBLE HR, no way to farm diamonds, f2p being a lie, too many content behind paywalls, unbalanced orbits, abandoned main story, companion issues, and the list goes on. instead of pushing banners down our throats they should fix their shit.
