Happy Juneteenth! I wanted to remake this thread about my great grandfather, my Poppy. Poppy’s parents were enslaved, and they fully immersed him into the life of a cowboy. He was born at the end of an unpaved trail, which was later renamed in his honor! A true cowboy legend 🤠
For Jubilee Day 2026, the 160th Juneteenth, and Pride Month 2026 I will post an important Black Queer every hour whose impact cannot be overstated. Go learn about each of these amazing people.
