@timkawakami You’re getting at something I’ve never understood. Yes they probably save money with non grass surfaces, but they consistently put their highly paid investments at greater risk because of it. That trade off never made any sort of sense to me.
@HunterBiden@aziz0nomics Yeah that’s what I told my cousin who survived Auschwitz when she mentioned her discomfort with Nazi tattoo guy…..I say this as a PA dem that supported and donated to your father. Go fuck yourself.
The Justice Democrats PAC, the outside group best known for elevating the congressional Squad to power in 2018, has become the driving force behind this cycle’s slate of far-left primary candidates.
And powering the Justice Democrats this year is a dark-money machine operating out of a PostalAnnex in a strip mall near Anaheim, Calif: the Institute for Middle East Understanding, a fierce critic of Israeli policy, and its new political arm, the IMEU Policy Project.

Bryce Eldridge on the walk-off slam: “I want to be the face of this franchise … I want to be in that moment. I want to be that guy, so it was pretty special.”
@TylerCLaRocca@JavierVeg_ The niners fucked up by dragging out his signing. But everything since then has been all Aiyuk. And it's quite telling that former players are calling him out on it.
@BWWings Unsolicited UX advice: surface the takeout tip screen after the customer has picked up their food. I know I’d feel a lot more comfortable tipping after I’ve seen that my order is correct.
@WalterHilmers@GretaGrace20@speechboy71 You’re still not addressing the point. You’re arguing that Collins is worse but that’s a separate argument from whether Platner deserves scrutiny. If a candidate’s flaws stop mattering the moment they’re on your side, then that just makes you MAGA of the left. Enjoy the cult.
@WalterHilmers@GretaGrace20@speechboy71 Notice how quickly “hold everyone accountable” became “what about Susan Collins?” That’s exactly the partisan reflex I’m talking about. I never said Collins was above criticism. The question is whether you’re willing to apply the same standards to your own side.
@WalterHilmers@GretaGrace20@speechboy71 No. The choice is Graham Platner, Janet Mills, or Susan Collins.
Overlooking serious flaws in your own candidates because “the other side is worse” is adopting the same partisan logic you criticize in MAGA. Accountability has to apply to everyone, or it doesn’t mean much.
@GretaGrace20@speechboy71 I think that’s exactly where we disagree. Saving democracy requires more than choosing a side. It requires holding leaders accountable, even when they’re on your side. Otherwise we’re just replacing one form of tribalism with another.
