A 32-year-old woman working with a private firm in Gurugram has alleged that she sustained “gunshot” injuries during the students’ protest at Jantar Mantar on July 20, adding to claims of pellet gun injuries made by a few other victims at the agitation.
“I can describe the spot — there is a fountain and a steel statue of a lion. I was standing right next to that, up in the higher part of the park. I was fired at from below. I can’t say for certain if I was the specific target, but the gun was aimed in our direction,” she said. “Seeing that, we all got scared and started running. There were quite a few of us up there, so we were all fleeing together when the shot was fired, and it grazed right past my ear,” she said.

NEET UG 2026 री-एग्जाम के परिणाम जारी होने के बाद कानपुर की छात्रा आर्या सिंह ने नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (NTA) की रिजल्ट प्रक्रिया पर सवाल खड़े किए हैं. छात्रा का दावा है कि OMR शीट के आधार पर उनके 609 अंक बन रहे थे लेकिन परिणाम जारी होने के बाद कुछ ही घंटों के अंतराल में उनके स्कोर में बड़ा बदलाव दिखाई दिया. आर्या के मुताबिक, NTA की वेबसाइट पर रिजल्ट चेक करने के दौरान पहले उन्हें 540 अंक दिखे, जबकि करीब दो घंटे बाद स्कोर घटकर 167 अंक रह गया. छात्रा ने इसे तकनीकी गड़बड़ी बताते हुए NTA और शिक्षा मंत्रालय को ईमेल के जरिए शिकायत भेजी है और जांच की मांग की है.
