Delta wins! 🎊
The Atlanta-based air carrier has now topped our airline rankings for the better part of the decade – this is its EIGHTH year in a row leading the charge for the US aviation industry.
It’s a testament to the consistent travel experience Delta & its people have maintained, from the hallmark reliability it’s had through the years — to its policies, lounge network and on-board amenities.
So, what makes Delta the best airline in America *again*?
👉 its sterling on-time record in 2025
👉 a standout end-to-end travel experience — from airport lounge to airplane cabin
👉 the industry's lowest rate of mishandled wheelchairs, scooters and mobility devices
👉 zero involuntary passenger bumps
👉 the airline's long-running operational strength
Big congrats to Delta Air Lines and all of its employees.

Before you check that suitcase, read this...
I almost never check a bag. After years of traveling, I've learned that carrying on is usually the easiest and safest option. But I know there are times when checking luggage just makes sense.
If you're going to check a bag, do it wisely.
The moment your suitcase disappears down that conveyor belt, it's out of your hands. Most bags arrive just fine, but it only takes one delay, one missed connection, or one mistake to create a major headache.
One of the biggest mistakes travelers make is packing the wrong things in checked luggage.
Here are some items that should always stay with you:
❌ Batteries and Power Banks
Lithium batteries aren't allowed in checked bags. Keep power banks, spare batteries, and battery-powered devices in your carry-on.
❌ Cash and Credit Cards
Never put money, credit cards, or anything valuable in a checked suitcase. If the bag gets delayed or lost, so does your access to those items.
❌ Medications
Always carry prescription and over-the-counter medications with you. Delayed luggage is inconvenient. Delayed medication can be a real problem.
❌ Electronics
Laptops, cameras, tablets, and other electronics don't belong in checked baggage. Baggage handling can be rough, and expensive electronics don't always survive the journey.
❌ Important Documents
Passports, visas, boarding passes, travel insurance information, and other important documents should never leave your possession.
❌ Breakables and Souvenirs
If it can break, crack, shatter, or leak, think twice before checking it. Baggage handlers aren't known for treating luggage like fine china.
❌ Jewelry and Sentimental Items
My rule is simple: if losing it would ruin your trip, don't put it in a checked bag.
Traveling With Mike Gray Pro Tip:
Many travelers don't realize that some countries have strict rules about bringing food, fruit, meat, and agricultural products across borders. Fines can be expensive, and in some cases the items can be confiscated.
Before you pack any food item, make sure you understand the rules for your destination.
Travel should be exciting, not stressful. A little planning before you leave can save a lot of frustration later.

Most travel problems don’t happen because people are unlucky…
They happen because nobody told them what to check BEFORE they leave.
This checklist covers the stuff travelers forget all the time:
• Passport expiration dates
• Medication rules overseas
• Travel insurance
• Backup copies of documents
• Bank notifications
• Emergency prep
A little planning now can save a massive headache later.
Save this before your next trip — especially if you’re heading overseas for the first time.
And if you want help planning your next cruise, Europe trip, or international vacation, I’ll help you put it together stress-free.

Travel Smarter, Not Harder
Planning your next trip? Let me give it to you straight — most people make travel planning way harder than it needs to be.
A travel advisor isn’t just someone who books a flight or hotel. It’s someone in your corner who helps you avoid mistakes, save time, and get more out of your trip.
When you work with me, you get:
A trip built around you
Help finding better options and added perks
Less stress and second-guessing
Support before, during, and after you travel
Someone to help when plans don’t go perfectly
Sure, you can try to do it all yourself. But a lot of people end up overpaying, missing better choices, or spending hours online trying to figure it all out.
That’s where I come in.
I help make the process easier, smoother, and a whole lot less stressful.
Thinking about a trip? Message me. No pressure, no cost — just a better way to travel.
