I'm going to show you howto build relocatable, statically linked OpenVPN client from source.
I only do this once so pay attention.
First fetch the sources with "wget2 https://t.co/XpCkuMagIe" extract it, take copy of it & open https://t.co/FLU9XBdKEY (why, will be clear soon)
@ewasniecinska Optimal strategy would be forcing manufacturers design electric devices that are energy efficient & at the same time push for more energy output & upgrade of grid.
But nobody cares to invest to that before it's too late & then blackouts start to be normal thing in Europe ...
@kris_chrome Oh, I don't know ... it would take "only" 8 standard bluray discs (25 GB/pcs). 4 if dual-layer (50 GB/pcs) and just 2 if quad-layer (100 GB/pcs)
But that's nothing, in old good (bad) days PC game could take at worst 13 floppy disks ....
@FrenchResponse You *CAN'T* change or control climate.
There is this massive fusion reactor bombarding Earth with 174 petawatts/s & things affecting it are clouds,weather patterns,air quality & last but not least,vater vapour from Oceans (that store 5-8 Hiroshima-bomb worth energy every second)
@idapandur Croatia does not count.
Croatia is 3rd developing country.
So of course they have it.
Like every still developing hell.
Hell, I don't even know where it is & I'm European.
/s 😉
@rinasnights Spoiler: You can't.
I remember when they changed "global warming" to "climate change" to cover all weather type & before that, in 70s they replaced "global freezing" to "global warming".
There been 4 ice ages in Europe.There been era with more Co2 than ever in past.
Adapt or die.
@ThePrimeagen Microsoft of AI.
There is one in every category of IT.
Be it OS, database, hardware, etc...
People need to have ability to run AI on their own machines.
And ultimately, distriputed planet wide open-source one, similar like the SETI experiment was for astrology.
@mattshumer_ Ummm...I can literally download & run almost every chinese model weights on my junk hardware with ollama.
Glm, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi etc.
The only limits are how fast ollama introduces new models & they even offer cloud versions of some of the models.

@PolymarketMoney Fuck Anthropic 🖕🖕🖕
But first, we need to hang all RAM manufacturer CEOs & NVIDIA CEO so that inflated prices (and for the sin of removing multi-GPU support) get back to normal & people can build boxes that can run any open-source model.
Life hack:
If you ever travel to hot humid country & bring anything made of iron or steel with you there & stay more than 1 month, coat them with thin layer of some oil.
Any oil, be it mineral or vegetable or whatever...
Because if you don't, you will start see rust after 1 m
@CryptoCyberia Told you folks.
"Hey, we replaced 1-core 32-bit CPU with 4-core 64-bit one. And slammed wifi module with BT. Everything else, including lousy 512 MB RAM, stayed same. That will be $60+"
And I buyed my original RPI Z for $5 ....... 😑😑😑
@mboudry All, except France.
It still has tons of nuclear.
And still they don't use it for AC.
Hell, they don't use it even with solar when it literally has max output during hottest days (high pressure = clearest skies)
It's like they *want* people to suffer (and die) 🤬
