🍷❤️ Do you ever see a photo that instantly takes you back to a certain moment?
Three years ago today, we were in Napa Valley, California! 🍇☀️
What started as a couple of wine tastings turned into one of those unforgettable nights! We met some new friends along the way, hit it off, and ended up hanging out with them all night! 🍷😂
It’s funny how some of the best travel memories aren’t always about the places you visit, but the people you meet along the way. ❤️
So much fun, so many laughs, and so many great memories! 🥂

☕✨ A Little Bit of Fun in Athens, Greece! 🇬🇷
One of the most fun and whimsical places we stumbled upon while exploring Athens was Little Kook Café in the Psiri neighborhood! 😍
We visited in March 2025, and this place was like stepping straight into a fairytale! 🏰✨ From the over-the-top decorations and colorful displays to the themed atmosphere, every little corner was something to see!
Little Kook is famous for changing its decorations throughout the year, so depending on when you visit, you could have a completely different experience!
Whether you stop for coffee, a sweet treat, or just to take in all the craziness, this is definitely a fun little stop to add to your Athens itinerary!
Sometimes it’s the unexpected places that make traveling so much fun! ❤️

😂🤣 When traveling becomes your personality… and you can’t understand how everyone else isn’t having an existential crisis about all the places they haven’t seen yet! 🌎✈️😂
So many places to see, so little time! Who’s with us?! 🙋♀️🙋♂️

🌙✨ Santorini is just as beautiful at night! 🇬🇷🤍 The whitewashed buildings, blue domes, and twinkling lights overlooking the caldera make this place feel absolutely magical after the sun goes down. 😍 Definitely a view worth staying up for!

🇬🇷💙 Santorini in March… and we practically had the island to ourselves! 😍
We visited right at the beginning of the season, which meant hardly any crowds, beautiful views, and plenty of time to explore without fighting our way through the tourists. And seeing the donkeys was definitely one of the highlights! 🫏❤️
We spent one night at Caldera Premium Villas in Oia, surrounded by those iconic white buildings, blue domes, and breathtaking caldera views. 🌊🤍
Our advice if you’re visiting in the off-season? Stay 2–3 nights if you can! We explored Oia on day one, then drove around the entire island on day two. We saw a lot, but definitely felt rushed trying to fit it all in!
Santorini in March was beautiful, peaceful, and such a unique experience. If you don’t mind a quieter island and some seasonal closures, visiting before the crowds arrive might just be the way to go! 🇬🇷✨

🕌✨ Getting lost in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul! 🇹🇷
Built in 1461, this incredible maze of shops has been welcoming visitors for more than 560 years! And let me tell you… this place is MASSIVE! 😂
From colorful lamps and beautiful ceramics to jewelry, spices, carpets, and pretty much anything else you can imagine, there’s something around every corner. 🛍️😍
There are probably 10–20 different types of shops… and then they just repeat themselves over and over with basically the same merchandise. 😂 Once you think you’ve seen it all, somehow you turn another corner and there’s more!
💰 A little tip from our experience: Prices tend to be much better on the side streets around the bazaar, but the Grand Bazaar is definitely something you need to experience.
And of course… bartering is part of the fun! 😂 We like to have a price in our head that we’re comfortable paying before we ask what something costs. If their price is higher, barter down to your number — or walk away. Someone else may meet your price… or you decide it simply isn’t worth that much to you. Either way, no hard feelings! 😉
Definitely an experience we won’t forget! ❤️🇹🇷

💧✨ One of our FAVORITE stops in Istanbul — and our 2nd favorite stop in all of Türkiye — the Basilica Cistern! 🇹🇷
Pictures really do NOT do this place justice… you have to see it for yourself! 😍
Built in the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Justinian, this incredible underground cistern is like a forest of 336 marble columns, each about 30 feet tall. And here’s the really cool part — many of these columns weren’t made for the cistern. They were reused from older Roman and Greek buildings, brought in from different parts of the Byzantine Empire, including areas as far away as Greece. Talk about recycling on a MASSIVE scale! 🏛️
And then there are the two famous Medusa heads! 🐍 The ancient Roman sculptures were reused as bases for two columns in the northwest corner. One Medusa is turned upside down, while the other is placed on her side. No one knows for certain why they were positioned this way — practical engineering is one explanation, while the legend says it may have been to keep Medusa’s petrifying gaze from working her magic! 👀🪨
Walking through the dimly lit columns with the water below was honestly one of those WOW moments of our trip. The history, the architecture, the reflections… absolutely incredible!

⭐ Definitely one to put on your Istanbul list!

⛪️✨ Göreme Open Air Museum — Cappadocia, Turkey 🇹🇷
This place is seriously incredible! 🤯 Carved right into the rock are ancient Christian churches covered in beautifully preserved paintings and frescoes that are nearly 1,000 years old! 🎨
We explored three of the most amazing churches — Apple Church, Dark Church, and Buckle Church — each with its own incredible artwork depicting scenes from the Bible and the life of Jesus. The colors and details that have survived all these centuries are absolutely amazing. ❤️
Standing inside these rock-cut churches, surrounded by artwork created by early Christian communities so long ago, was one of those moments that really makes history feel alive.
The Göreme Open Air Museum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and truly one of the most unique Christian sites in the world. ✝️❤️
Definitely one of those places in Cappadocia you have to see for yourself!

🏛️✨ The Terrace Houses at Ephesus are definitely worth the extra fee!
Hidden beneath protective roofs, these ancient homes give you a glimpse into how the wealthy lived nearly 2,000 years ago. The mosaics are incredible, but the beautifully preserved painted walls and colorful details really surprised us! 😍
It’s one thing to walk the marble streets of Ephesus… it’s another to step inside the homes and see the details that people actually lived with. ❤️
💰 Our tip: Pay the extra fee and go inside the Terrace Houses—you won’t regret it!

🏛️✨ Walking through Ephesus was like stepping straight into history!
One of the coolest parts? Walking on the original marble roads that people walked thousands of years ago. 🥹🪨 And knowing that the Apostle Paul actually spent time here and preached in Ephesus made it even more meaningful. The Great Theatre is even mentioned in Acts in connection with the riot over Paul’s teachings. (Ephesus (https://t.co/TSTYdrUfUo))
We saw the incredible Great Theatre, the ancient Stadium, Hadrian’s Gate, and of course the absolutely stunning Library of Celsus—one of the most recognizable sights in Ephesus. 📚🏛️ (UNESCO World Heritage Centre (https://t.co/pCHdhFRV5q))
There is just something about standing where people stood thousands of years ago that makes history feel REAL. ❤️
Ephesus definitely did not disappoint! 🇹🇷✨

When you think it’s a GREAT idea to hit the gift shop and buy a giant llama 🦙 and avocado 🥑 floatie… just so you can take them down the concrete slides at Secrets Cozumel! 😂🌴💦
Because apparently, we don’t know how to just relax on vacation. 🤣

🧿🧶 We definitely weren’t planning on buying a carpet… 😂 Famous last words!
Our stop at Golden Fringe Carpet in Cappadocia was such a cool experience! We got to watch the women weaving these beautiful Turkish carpets and learn about the whole process — from dying the fibers to seeing how silk is actually obtained and prepared for weaving. 🪡🧵
Then came the really dangerous part… 😍 A HUGE collection of gorgeous carpets that you can walk through, touch, and admire up close. The colors and details were incredible!
And while you’re browsing, you can relax with Turkish tea, coffee, wine or even raki. ☕️🍷🥃 Because apparently carpet shopping is better with a drink in your hand! 😂
We went in just to look… 👀
Let’s just say, we learned that “just looking” in Cappadocia can be dangerous for the wallet! 😂🧳🇹🇷
