🚨(1) BREAKING: An NHS Trust is facing legal action after allowing bearded male patients who identify as women to be admitted to female psychiatric wards and use women’s showers and toilets.

A senior doctor says vulnerable women continue to be put at risk.

The claimant, anonymised as “Dr A”, is a consultant psychiatrist represented by the Christian Legal Centre.

She alleges that the Trust dismissed repeated warnings about the privacy, dignity and safety of female psychiatric patients, including survivors of sexual violence.
