Marriage is simply beautiful when it works.
After my C-section, my husband slept outside the hospital window just to be close. He walked with me to the building where our baby was being treated. Every time she woke to feed, he woke too, handed her to me and stayed, keeping me company through the nights.
When I was hospitalized post-surgery, he moved into my hospital room. It was the start of COVID and they said it wasn’t allowed. He said he wasn’t leaving. He paid for private nurses and still bathed me himself every day. They protested that they could bathe me 😂
We love children. He sets up a trampoline so the neighbourhood kids can jump. He never misses PTA meetings or Sports Day - missed just one, and our child’s Godfather had to step in (he came in the wrong colour at short notice 😬)
To have a partner who thinks of you first, who puts family first - that kind of love is priceless. Marriages are beautiful when God, love and respect form the core ❤️ 🙌
