Hi all, I received a message today from a Celtics fan (@Ga1anos) who is grieving the tragic and sudden loss of his beloved wife. I wanted to share this message with you all.
Celtics family, please leave Drew all the love in the world. Drew's goal is to show off his wife, Ashli, to the world, as she was a massive Celtics fan.
Hi Noa,
I’ve been a Celtics fan for as long as I can remember in grade school. I found my bestfriend in 2017 and we married in 2024. We were together for 8 years and I created a monster of a Celtics fan out of her. She has jerseys, she has hats, shirts, she watched seasons of games with me, highlights after the games. Her fandom was unmatched. Coming from New Jersey, we didn’t get to go to as many games as we wante, but we made it work. Most recently in April we went to 2 game for my 30th birthday, all arranged and planned by my wife.
On 9/11, she passed away, 3 days after our 8 year anniversary and only a short couple weeks before our 1 year wedding anniversary, I really wanted to show her the world.
Now my goal is to show the world my girl, my beautiful girl. Unsure in how you can help, or make watching our Celtics easier on me and her family - but it feels really good talking about her passions with people. Thank you for being an awesome reporter, someone ashli knew the voice of when you were on screen or in a clip
It’s been a horrible few days and I don’t know where to go from here other than talking about her passions. And Celtics basketball was a strong one.
TRENDING: #Ravens guard Daniel Faalele has gone viral for one of the worst players ever by an offensive lineman.
Faalele did not block a single defender and was just spinning in circles.
He looks completely lost out there…
