@Providnik1 There is an interesting theory that the us experience in wwii was a big contributor. Especially soldiers serving in North Africa had terrible problems. Then when they returned they shared their experience and so people asked for their kids to be circumcised.
@Sm00chieW@statsglobe Just put this into grok. Apparently this was a real phenomenon. North Africa had mass circumcisions and it was a problem in other theaters too. It ended up being one of the most common surgeries during the war. Men then requested it combined with baby boom and there you go.
@Sm00chieW@statsglobe I heard an interesting theory once that it actually started with GIs returning from North Africa in wwii. Apparently war, sand, and foreskins don’t go well together. Stories get passed around a bit and next thing you know everyone is circumcised.
@GAYERdoctor Know of a doctor who, every time a pseudo seizure presented to the ER, would ask his nurse for the eye needle and syringe so that he could draw the eyeball fluid to determine what kind of seizure it was. Seizures stopped 90% of the time.
@UroDonMD@anish_koka I plan to have the administrators make me retire. And even then I will probably go into business for myself. I don’t know how you can be a doctor and not see that the next step after retirement is death.
@BobPark29887522@blob_watcher 1/3 of Vietnam veterans did not desert. “Naval Mutiny?” And you just called military veterans the bottom of the barrel. You suck. I hope this is a burner account for you and you are not posting your actual name to this.
@thekingbabak5@PlumbNick Personally I think family medicine should rebrand to rural medicine and try to make themselves more procedure focused and they would have far more success in recruitment.
@thekingbabak5@PlumbNick Honestly though you can make money in family medicine, you just can’t be in a big city and also be paid well. It’s all about being willing to fill the needs in your area. That may be scopes, OB/c section, allergy etc.
@_parasocial Personally I feel family medicine is not presented as it should be to medical students. Financial success in rural settings is easy but rural medicine is all about filling niches for the community by seeking training in procedures and practices the community needs.
@No5183314344428@ABC Did the people who jumped from the towers on 9/11 commit suicide or were they murdered. Maybe he jumped thinking he could get to the next floor down.
@chiproytx lol, there is no fraud to be exposed here. AI knows the rules and can identify where the hospitals are missing charges. The system was made incredibly complex on purpose. Now there’s a tool to decipher it so you want to dismantle it.
@llionmarti@culturaliteral1 What I really enjoy about the responses to this tweet is that the Chinese government doesn’t let people on X, so most or all of the Chinese translation responses are likely government agents/employees. Anyone translated from Chinese on this app has no credibility.
