This probably won't go well for @Plano_Schools ... Arresting moms and taking over their bank account? Petty, petty, petty...
When public schools aren't grooming kids, they are screwing taxpayers.

HOW It STARTED | HOW It’s GOING
BOOSTER CLUB MOMS are BACK!
Suing PLANO ISD for orchestrating a heist of their bank account, then having them JAILED when the heist failed.
@TravisMorgan76 has details and background on the scandal… https://t.co/Yu8ZZxpvb3
@CDFUSA#TxEd
Texas Tech placed a big bet on their scandal-plagued, never-played-a-Red-Raider-down QB Brendan Sorsby.
Now the Big 12 is dragging them and Ken Paxton into federal court over the future shape of college sports.

Just concluded an EXCLUSIVE interview with @KenPaxtonTX fresh from his landslide GOP win.
We look back at the impeachment-era claims his political career was finished, and what comes next heading into the General Election—and beyond.

Whatever one thinks of Donald Trump's White House ballroom, there is something deeply disturbing about an unelected, unaccountable bureaucrat (the "Senate parliamentarian") deciding what can and cannot be in legislation passed by the House.

INSANE! State law allows the @CityOfMcKinney to sue its taxpayers so that the city can accrue debt the voters rejected!
And they are suing the citizenry IN AUSTIN, not in a local court. Hopefully, @KenPaxtonTX will step in on behalf of the citizens.

@DrPaulChabot This little-known maneuver was done under the Texas Expedited Declaratory Judgement Act (EDJA), an absurd law that attorney @TweetTonyMac is seeking to have repealed.
The law allows cities to take the fight away from its citizens with only newspaper notice of an expedited trial.
@CityOfMcKinney is suing its own citizens in Travis County, seeking to expeditiously validate its controversial airport bonds.
McKinney residents are expected to show up in Austin on Monday (May 18) to make their case.

McKinney is asking the court to block any challenges to the bonds. This would toss out a pending Collin County lawsuit filed by @DrPaulChabot’s North Texas Conservation Association.
The city chose to file in Travis County, where citizens are unlikely to appear on short notice.
NEW: SCOTX Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock is demanding answers from a Dallas judge over her courtroom mask mandate, warning he is “aware of no legitimate basis” for requiring masks or health disclosures to enter a Texas courtroom.
Blacklock gave Judge D’Metria Benson until Friday to justify the policy or withdraw.
Second Amendment advocates argue Texans' right to self-defense could be significantly weakened should Texas' precise legal definition of "provocation" be disregarded.

NEW: @TexasScorecard has obtained the actual indictment and dismissal order in the brief criminal case against former Texas Lottery Executive Director Gary Grief.
The indictment accused Grief of first-degree felony abuse of official capacity tied specifically to the April 22, 2023 Lotto Texas drawing tied to the controversial $95 million jackpot win.
Two Harris County judges have just been sanctioned by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for how they run their courtrooms.
