@igknighted08 @resultsboy@scrub_zone@cosmocatalano I believe @YaroshScott snapping his fork on the flyover was the most devastating mechanical of that race
@agrabau@mattsolar@MassGovernor Eventually, administration rate will be greater than the shipping rate and the surplus will be depleted. However, taking the extra doses now would only lead to vaccination sites not having enough time in the day to administer all the second doses in addition to new first doses.
@agrabau@mattsolar@MassGovernor There's a schedule for a reason. Assuming rate of administering the first dose is constant, even though it's actually increasing, four weeks later the overall rate including second doses would have to be double the initial rate.
@mattsolar@agrabau@MassGovernor My understanding is that locations distributing the vaccine generally have a freezer capable of storing the vaccine for a short period of time. Upon removing them from the freezer, the clock starts, but they are contained in 10 dose vials and are only removed as needed.
@mattsolar@agrabau@MassGovernor Consider this...Ship to rate is currently higher than administration rate. If they administer first doses at max capacity, in four weeks, second doses will fill their appointments and there will be no time for first doses then anyways.
Administration rate will increase with time
@mattsolar@agrabau@MassGovernor Or 23% of doses have yet to be administered.
It makes complete sense that vaccine administration sites would not run themselves completely dry every day they receive vaccine.
Following the heavy rains last week, I thought it was odd the windows in my car were fogging up from the inside. This tweet prompted me to look further into it, and find that the carpets are soaked through under the floor mats. Clearing the drains ASAP. Thank you!
@AdamMyerson I knew I wanted to be first to the second to last corner, and thankfully so. Otherwise we would've played more games on the top straight and likely would've been caught. I went at 1:10 in that video and didn't know what was up until I saw Kevin under my arm on the line.
@AdamMyerson You can see the guy on his wheel knew what was up. He two had a teammate up the road too. He let go of the wheel to give us a few more seconds and it probably made the difference.
