Ravens, Orioles, Dr Pepper

[Sarah Ellison @sgellison]

Regardless of who the QB or OC have been, the Ravens have either abandoned their running identity, or allowed opposing teams to dictate that they lose it, in many of their playoff losses since 2019.

2019
Season: +9.8 rush (37.3 rush/gm to 27.5 pass/gm)
Divisional loss: -30 rush (29 to 59)

2020
Season: +9.3 rush (34.7 to 25.4)
Wild Card win: +11 rush (35 to 24)
Divisional loss: -5 rush (32 to 37)
*Note: Lamar Jackson suffered a concussion and left the playoff loss vs. Bills.

2022
Season: +2.2 rush (30.9 to 28.7)
Wild Card loss: +6 rush (35 to 29)
*Note: Tyler Huntley started 6 games, including the playoff loss. RB JK Dobbins complained about not getting the ball enough.

2023
Season: +2.7 rush (31.8 to 29.1)
Divisional win: +20 rush (42 to 22)
AFC Champ loss: -21 rush (16 to 37)

KC has gotten every single call, and many of them correct, but the refs are missing all the calls that would help Baltimore. Likely just got tackled and no flag.

Colorado signed Deion Sanders to a $29.5M deal — without even having the money to pay for it.

“We don’t have the money yet, but I know we'll have it."

Buffs fans donated a record $28M to the athletic department and sold out season tickets for the first time in 27 years.

Prime just beat last season's national title runner-up in his very first game.

If I spent 50K on an EV compared to let’s say a 40K F150, it would take 10 years to break even if saving $80 a month. It’s the difference of the two vehicles not the overall cost of one that matters.

[Travis Altmeyer @Travis_Ayy]

It took me half a second to know that math is just not correct.

[Not Jerome Powell @alifarhat79]

If you buy a $50k electric vehicle to save $80 a month on gas you’ll need 52 years to break even.

Unpopular opinion: Fireworks should be banned. They negatively affect people with PTSD, scare animals, are awful for the environment, and are just...too loud.

I like pretty lights as much as the next person, but the impact they have is not worth the visual enjoyment.
