This is so weird, so far no one from USA Today has even signed up for the CLT. They wrote an entire article misleading readers about how easy our math section is and saying it is middle-school math, so we are offering anyone who works at USA Today $10,000 if they can simply get a perfect on the CLT math section. Based on their article, it should be easy! Something is off, either the article was lying or no one at USA Today can do middle-school math.

Conservatives keep failing at creating culture.

Daily Wire had real momentum and good projects, then buried the Pendragon Cycle behind a paywall and watched Bent Key flop. Reaction is not enough. Culture is won by telling stories that move people, not by commenting on the ones Hollywood already made.

Mel Gibson proved it with The Passion of the Christ. Hollywood tried to kill it and it still broke through because the art was strong. We need more artists like that and more people with real capital, like Elon Musk, willing to fund them. Create the culture instead of just complaining about the one we lost.

Villains, Heroes, and Losers

I’ve been thinking about why so many things in our society feel like they’re falling apart.

(For example: morals, politics, everyday standards, even how people treat each other).

A big part of it seems to come down to this:

Good men stopped enforcing the standards they already knew were right.

They stayed quiet.

Every generation has had its weird or extreme voices. The difference now is that those voices are being allowed to take the lead.

Too many men today are so worried about being called controlling or abusive that they just stop using any authority at all. They freeze.

There are three kinds of people:

-Villains who actively tear things down.

-Heroes who step in and stop the damage.

-Losers who merely see the damage, tell their friends about it, and then do nothing else. They stop at the complaint.

The important questions become:

What separates the loser from the hero? And how does a loser start becoming a hero?

The first step is honest and uncomfortable.

You have to admit you’re currently acting like a loser.

That’s exactly what I had to do—and I’m still doing it.

As a first step, a loser needs to own up to the fact that he is acting like a loser.

That is what I did (and am doing).

I realized that no one changes the world by mere shouting and opining.

You change the world by doing that + living out your stated values + pushing your brothers to do the same (even if it makes them mad for awhile).

I looked for models of how to become more than what I was.

I changed.

No one is going to change the world in any way this week without first finding some small way to change *himself* this week.

Heroes don’t wait for the perfect moment or someone else’s permission.

Here’s exactly why I think Republicans are weak:

When the Democrats get back in charge, they’re going to do whatever they have to do to make sure their agenda passes. They’re going to whip their people into a frenzy and make sure this country is as far left as possible. That’s their goal and that’s what they’re going to do.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are in power *right now* and can’t get out of their own way. We did our part to vote them in, but they can’t do a blessed thing to make this country stronger. John Fetterman has done more than most of them.

It’s sickening and makes me pessimistic about the direction of this country. Tell these Republicans to re-discover their balls and get shit done.
