When I was younger I would absolutely hate holidays or days off. Now I love them! I can’t imagine a world where we trade 24/7. That will likely be the trigger for full retirement
As a trader of course X and social media has its benefits but at times the information overload and chaos of news flow can be detrimental to helping keep an open mind
The headlines the past few weeks regarding Iran, the straight of Hormuz and almost anything else politically related have been so irritating I almost can’t open X as I don’t even want to see what’s coming next.
If I were to look at a handful of stocks I typically watch and see how they traded this week, I would assume the indices were 10-15% off highs.....Nope
Excited to speak at this year’s @TraderLion Conference! I’ll be sharing the key lessons I’ve learned over the past 20 years of trading, along with some of my A+ setups.

Good message here. The reason I got into trading and I assume most is the unlimited income potential. The sky is the limit when it comes to earnings in the market.
The downside here is trying to realize when enough is enough. For some, the game of chasing profits will never be enough even though they can never spend all that they earn. The never ending chase of $$$ will never lead to happiness
This sentence stands out to me the most.
"That said all of them were hardest working people I knew at the time, doing what others weren't ready to do either through working long, better or using tools others weren't using yet at the time."
Hard work is not just sitting in front of the screens all day staring at charts. Its back testing, trade analysis, reviewing entries and exits, studying past winners, learning from your losses, reviewing overall market conditions, position sizing, cutting losses among many many more things. Most of this work for me, takes place after hours and weekends when the market is not open to distract me.

First off I have no clue what the Buffett indicator is, nor do I care. 2nd it proves that all indicators other than price are pretty much completely worthless.
One of the best tools and investments a trader can make is a standing desk. I bought one 10 years ago and I have sat only a handful of times since. It improves posture, increases circulation, decreases back pain along with other benefits. I also believe it increases my execution speed as I’m more nimble at my desk. It has been one of the best office investments I have made.
