A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of rape after reports of a horrific attack on an 11-year-old girl near a playground in Bath.

This is every parent’s worst nightmare.

Our children should be able to play safely in broad daylight without fear.

Avon and Somerset Police say the suspect remains in custody.
