Year 1 ✅ and what a foundation we built!
Watching these young men grow & mature has been the real reward.
Year 2 Loading…
Let’s go Bayshore‼️ 🏀🐻

Growing up, summertime is where you seen the big jumps in everyone’s game.
Your “trainer” was the older guy who’d been to college or was playing pro coming back home in the summer.
You got better by competing against real players. You watched their game, stole what you liked, and added it to yours.
Individual skill work is important today, don’t get me wrong. But knowing the when, where, why, and how to use those moves? That comes best from live competition.
The old “student-athlete” pure amateur model died years ago.... These NBA voices are bringing strategy & influence to roster construction, NIL negotiations, transfer portal decisions, and player branding.
Programs that get these stars will have a massive competitive edge in recruiting and retaining talent. The divide between the haves and have-nots 🤯
We’re in NBA Free Agency right now. Big moves left and right 🏀
But here’s one thing I’m noticing in college basketball that’s flying under the radar...
NBA stars are taking over front office roles (GM, President of Ops, Asst. GM). This is going to change college Basketball forever.
Thread 🧵
We’ve already seen:
Stephen Curry → Asst. GM at Davidson
Trae Young → Asst. GM at Oklahoma
John Wall → President of Basketball Ops at Howard
Damian Lillard → GM at Weber State
Shaq → GM at Sacramento State
Terance Mann → Asst. GM at Florida State
@TweetsbyCoachP Those two are definitely on the list. These will also stand out:
Anticipating plays 2–3 steps ahead (reading cues before they happen)
Defensive positioning, help timing & rotations
Situational awareness (clock, score, fouls, adjustments)
Tone setter 🔥
Too many players rush the screen instead of using it. Patience creates advantages.
Watch how Drake’s guard slows down, keeps the defender on his hip, reads the help, and lets the screen create the separation.

#HoopVibe Summer League debuts on June 2. Don't miss all the action at Braden River High School.
Tons of competition and coverage, the Hoop Vibe way.
See you there!
