@OP_senju Didn’t Aang’s injury leave him unconscious for a long time? I guess it was just a deeper injury. Been a bit since I watched the show but that’s my guess.
@mawb97th It’s doesn’t hold a candle to Bayonetta or Automata or Metal Gear Rising, but I still argue that it’s a perfectly competent little beat-em-up. I’d buy it for $20 if they renewed the license.
@FilmItLee@DiscussingFilm The fighting game has gained a lot of hype since the closed beta.
…and the full game is releasing alongside Marvel Tokon’s PS5 and PC open beta…
@Bay_Area_Boy@TweedyMK I don’t want to agree because I enjoy the beta, but realistically I think you’re right. I still enjoy Invincible, but even the newest update is barely boosting player counts. Tokon eclipsing every other fighter this year is kind of inevitable.
@PlayStation You might as well just put everything on a big sale before the closure. Give players one last chance to get this stuff on your platform before it’s gone forever.
@melvin2898@AFGCNews I’m going to go with yes, most likely. They wouldn’t have these options available if they didn’t at least have SOME design work already laid out. I’d be surprised if we didn’t see all of them in the roster when the game is finished.
@MasterNinjaRyu_ I understand that Mai and Kula need to be repurchased for licensing reasons, but KT really could have sweetened the deal for us by adding two brand new characters at launch to replace them.
@RinoTheBouncer Remember how long it took for PS4 players to upgrade to PS5?
Yeah, it was be even worse for a PS6 unless PlayStation gets smart and holds back for a few years.
@RawbertBeef Marvel probably threw this in for fan service and an IOU that they’ll figure out the payoff later. Seeing how Marvel has done a lot of redirection in this saga I assume it’s left on the cutting room floor. I think She-Hulk was scrubbed from canon anyway, Born Again ignores it.
@RinoTheBouncer To an extent, absolutely. The Gamer Gate era still has lingering effects on the industry to this day and not for the better.
That being said, inflated budgets and corporate greed have created a lot of these anti-consumer practices and gamers have begrudgingly tolerated them.
@RinoTheBouncer I stand that Ninja Theory had the potential to make their own phenomenal hack and slash IP. After Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, and DmC I felt like they had the experience to do it.
Sony should hire them again under a new studio name.
@ShadePJ I’ve kinda just accepted Rise of Hydra may be getting scrapped at this point, especially since that Blade game may or may not have the same fate.
Tides of Annihilation is another game that’s concerning me with how quiet the promotion has been for it lately…
@myretrolifeshow My theory is that they saw SF6’s World Tour and wanted to take it one step further. This could be a complete reinvention of the series. Especially since Pai looks much older now. I’m at least interested in seeing what they do with it.
But yeah, bring back Sarah.
@justhere1877@Exal7ed Oh, alright then. I was considering preordering for the bonus content but if it’s all something I can unlock in-game or buy later I may just wait for the developers to add more to the roster.
@RinoTheBouncer@TreyBoog23 They’re all starting to blend together. Onimusha and Phantom Blade 0 are the only Japanese sword games I care about with Oni being hard carried by Capcom’s roll this year as well as being a resurrected franchise. If I’m only getting one it’s that one.
@CapcomUSA_ Is there any chance we can finally get a remaster of 3? Now that 4 is coming to PlayStation Classics it feels like that’s the only one missing.
