After a very long day with legals, the full team are meeting again at 8am ... and we're ready to carry on pushing for what we believe in.
Some would think they were rattled.
The data is in: lockdowns serve no useful purpose and cause catastrophic societal and economic harms. They must never be repeated in this country.

We have the cartoon of the year already...
Did you see the goalposts move again yesterday?
No longer 5 tests to get out of lockdown
Or the r rate
Or saving the NHS
Or deaths
Or cases
Or the data not the dates
The new obstacle to freedom is "lumpy vaccine supply"
#EnoughIsEnough
All at risk groups have been offered the vaccine. The hospitals are empty and the daily number of positives is near the false positive numbers of the cartload of tests being done on asymptomatic. Why are we in lockdown? Why are there any rules "to follow"?
We've just received the Governments response.
They have FAILED to introduce any new evidence as to why indoor hospitality cannot open the same day as non essential retail.
We'll now be working through the night to take our case to the High Court for a Judicial Review.

I am urgently looking for restaurants and pubs in the UK that have outside space, serve great food and will be open from 12 April, for a feature in the Times. RTs much appreciated. Thanks.
I dont have a crystal ball sadly- but I expect life will be nearly back to normal - but there will still be outbreaks of the virus over the summer in some areas and a few people will still need to isolate. I dont see the need to be testing 1.4 million people daily though!
HART member Dr Jennie Bristow: “The insistence that schools should keep adapting to contain the spread of coronavirus runs counter to what children need from schools right now: continuity, stability, and a sense of normality”

New cases down again to 4200 per day and R values 0.7 to 0.9 with deaths and admissions falling and NHS capacity looking good again. It’s time to deal with long Covid and all the other diseases that have been neglected for the last year! Thx for logging
This is embarrassing for the ONS. They have omitted all deaths from influenza and other winter respiratory viruses from their calculations.
