From our 37 years working in the Sahel, we've learned that increased representation of women in #NaturalResourceManagement structures leads to ๐
2/ greater #empowerment, but the actual improvements surpassed our expectations:
๐ค Increase in women reporting equal or more power than their partners, from 14% to 49%
๐ณWomen in management positions went from 31% to 57%
๐Households reporting severe food insecurity halved
