The attempted terror attack in NYC is a perfect microcosm of everything that has gone wrong with Western civilization.

A leftist shouts open-border slogans through a bullhorn without grasping the second-order consequences of those policies.

Then when one of those consequences literally throws a bomb over his head, he still cannot process the danger and claims he stood there “laughing” as the explosive landed at his feet.

Meanwhile the propaganda machine goes to work.

The terrorists are framed as ordinary teenagers enjoying warm weather. The protest becomes an “anti-Muslim" demonstration. Sympathy is quietly redirected towards the terrorists.

To them, foreign militants throwing explosives can be contextualized. Citizens objecting to it cannot.

And even after nearly being killed by ISIS sympathizers, the same activist spends the next several days insisting the far-right is the real threat.
