Last week was ugly. 4-11, no way around it. Every one of those stays on the record.
For context, the model went 25-11-1 in weeks 5-6. So 29-22-1 overall, +7.75u. One bad week doesn’t change the plan.
Week 8 is already locked:
Sam Houston +3 (1.5u) Wed
Iowa -7 (1u)
Kansas +1.5 (1.5u)
TCU -8.5 (1u)
Bama -14.5 (1u)
Ohio -10.5 (1u)
La Tech -10.5 (1u)
Kentucky -11.5 (1u)
New Mexico -4 (1u)
Got these early before the lines move. Back at it🌲🌲
Oregon opened -21.5. It’s -7 now. And that’s not even the only crazy move this week
Bama -1.5 → -7.5 at Tennessee
Louisville -10.5 → -15.5 at Syracuse (Cuse QB room is banged up)
Air Force flipped from +3 to -1.5 vs UNLV
Miami -16.5 → -21 vs FSU
Buffalo -3.5 → -7 vs UMass (UMass down to 3rd string QB)
K-State -7.5 → -4.5 vs Kansas
Texas Tech -12.5 → -15.5 vs ASU
LSU -12.5 → -15.5 vs Miss State
Georgia -16.5 → -19.5 vs Auburn
San Jose State -10 → -7 at UTEP
Good luck today everybody, lets eat.
Few things to know before kick:
Texas -9.5: Florida’s starting QB is expected to sit (shoulder). Backup who’s never started gets the nod. Good for us
Bama -7: Tennessee’s going with backup QB MacIntyre again. Bama is missing their starting center though
Syracuse +15.5: they’re starting Malachi Nelson, who’s playing through a rib injury. Better than the 4th stringer we were worried about
UMass +7: down to their 3rd string QB. Biggest risk on the card
UCLA, Air Force & Southern Miss are all rolling with backup QBs
@Jaydub734@TheGodYouFear Brother, I’m saying that they are definitely better than a majority of the teams Memphis played. Frankly idec if they are good or bad, I’m following a model not my gut. If Memphis covers, good for them. I’m playing the long game
