Fighting climate change by rewilding more land

[TreeTop @TreeTop_UK]

Unacceptable. And a direct result of unregulated water companies. Government needs to stop events like this through tougher regs, stop delaying new nature payments schemes, and stop taking nature for granted in general

‘90% rain’ yeah…”SWW sewage discharge this morning at StAgnes. Unbelievable. A dad just got out this arvo and said to his 3 year old ‘Best wash the sewage off…’ It is still stinking. No way am I surfing in that.

One step closer to fighting climate change by restoring nature

[Greta Thunberg @GretaThunberg]

This is a rough quick introduction explaining why technology alone won't "solve" the climate crisis.

Do we need it? - Yes.
Should we invest every possible resource? - Yes, as long as it's holistically sustainable.
Will it be enough? - No, far from it.

Rewilding? Sounds great! But what is actually is it?

It's a question we hear a lot at TreeTop. So we've written a blog which explains what it is, how it's different to tree plantations, and why we back it. Check it out!

Fantastic book by @georgemonbiot on rewilding in the UK. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone interested in the benefits of leaving land to rewild, it’s positive impacts for climate change, and how our country needs to modify incentives to encourage rewilding to take hold.

[TreeTop @TreeTop_UK]

At TreeTop, we pass your monthly payments on to our Suppliers so they are paid fairly for rewilding their land. This creates incentives for farmers, NGOs etc to keep your woodland on their land long term. Key for rewilding to take hold, and for carbon to be continuously captured

[TreeTop @TreeTop_UK]

Anyone looking to rewild their land in the UK, get in touch with us today. We are looking for long term partners who want to rewild their land and keep it that way. We provide materials, guidance and long term funding to do so. #rewild #rewilding #rewildUK
