Voice acting is one of the few mediums where an actor can become a completely different character without needing to look anything like them.

Forcing voice actors to use their own faces and natural voices takes away so much of what makes voice acting special and limits their performances for the sake of hyperrealism.

I'm glad she agrees, because she's a phenomenal voice actress. But seeing the same faces over and over again gets old fast.
