This all seems to be a ploy to link IP addresses and online activity directly to an identifiable person to make them easier to catch and track down. The government falsely assumed that everyone watches porn and they thought they would get everyone that way. It obviously did not work as well as they were hoping so they are now expanding it. (I have always said that initial laws are just a foot in the door, those laws will always be expanding after the fact into their true original intended purpose).
So their plan now is if you want to use any social media or much of the internet in any way, you will need to prove that you are over 18 which means submitting an ID. This will require far far more ID submissions which will massively expand the government database, which was the real plan all along, not the safety of children.
The funniest thing about this is after all the fuss about the Online Safety Act, this blanket ban on kids using social media pretty much renders the entire act pointless and made it a giant waste of time. Which to be honest, proves that the act was never about protecting children but was really about building a giant database that links all online activity directly to a person.
This database would then be constantly poured over by AI to flag "citizens of concern" to the government who may be potential political dissidents, saying naughty anti-government things etc so the government can pre-emptively act against them.
Minority Report. This is literally the plot of Minority Report.
@Breaking57 What even is this review? An 8.2! You've got to be kidding me. You can tell it's way too hot, falling apart, uneven slices, a sloppy hot mess!
@Grummz He's right. I mean the game looks nice; but it's not God of War, it's a far departure. It's more like Dungeons and Dragons or another fantasy universe. Just a mash of cultures and fantasy tropes.
Is the Prime Minister of Australia mocking a 39 year old wage earning father for being unable to afford his own home? Incredible behaviour from our supposed leader.
Has any action been taken against the police officers who handcuffed this boy and made him bleed to death in the street?
Who are they?

@FilmUpdates Ugh.. They are cramming as many big names in the movie, doesn't seem to be working.. poor dialog and alot of overacting from the trailer alone.
The team behind Slay the Spire II is about to derail the entire full release.
Mega Crit openly included Sarkeesian in the game’s credits, listing her as a consultant.
This is NOT a culture war take.
It’s a risk management issue the team should address.
@brendenvonhouse Did you just get an AI to come up with that infographic. It's so bad! It's just a bunch of tech words and what some of the areas are known for now.
@JEChalmers Businesses still will have the fee from payment processing providers except now all the customers will have to cover it not just the ones who choose to use card.
@AlboMP Payment processors fees still apply, instead of just card users it will be all customers bareing the cost. Just another step to eliminate the cash economy.
"Australia is making a terrible humanitarian mistake by allowing the Iran National Woman’s Soccer team to be forced back to Iran, where they will most likely be killed. Don’t do it, Mr. Prime Minister, give ASYLUM. The U.S. will take them if you won’t..." - @POTUS
🚨 Terrifying scenes from Iran
More videos are slowly coming out of Iran, thanks to Starlink, as the internet shutdown continues.
The country is a war zone.
Holy sh*t.
I’ve been banned from traveling to the UK. They revoked my ETA.
