If the United States is at war, then Pete Hegseth is a war criminal. If the United States is not at war, then Pete Hegseth is a murderer.
I work in international laws for over 10 years. What Pete Hegseth ordered the military to do violates international law. The US army deliberately targeted fishing boats and killed civilians.
Under the Geneva Conventions, you are obligated to spare the civilian population, civilians and civilian objects.
Pete Hegseth war crimes trial is going to be historic.

BREAKING: Israel has dropped a new type of bomb in Gaza.
Palestinians claim it’s a “mini nuke,” but analysis suggests it is likely a thermobaric (vacuum) weapon.
Thermobaric bombs detonate by dispersing a fuel–air mixture, producing a high-pressure shockwave and intense heat. This can collapse structures and cause blast effects similar to a nuclear detonation in terms of overpressure, but it is not a nuclear weapon.

At the age of 33, he rose to the presidency of Burkina Faso and launched one of the boldest transformations in postcolonial Africa.
During just four years in power:

- Organized a mass vaccination drive that reached more than 2 million children
-Led the planting of millions of trees to fight desertification
-Outlawed forced marriages, polygamy, and female genital mutilation
-Cut government salaries, including his own, and rejected luxury living
-Championed local industry, wearing only clothing made in Burkina Faso
ICE slam man's head against stone wall—send him to hospital with fractured skull.
Man's hands were already behind his back.
Agents then physically assault legal observers—soon as they realize they're caught on video.
Threaten to shoot witnesses with taser—even firing it up.
Agent holds taser sideways "gangster style"—is this proper training?
Man was taken to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital.
Incident occurred outside the Kane County Judicial Center in the St. Charles suburb of Chicago, Illinois.
ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.
According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.
It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.
His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.
DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.
We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.
Everyone should be outraged.
An Indigenous tribe is suing the U.S. government to halt the removal of nearly all wild horses from a protected territory.
The Utu Utu Gwaitu Paiute Tribe has filed a federal lawsuit to prevent the planned roundup of 624 wild horses from the Montgomery Pass Wild Horse Territory along the California Nevada border.
The operation scheduled to start on July 8 would remove about 90 percent of the existing herd.
The U.S. Forest Service maintains that the area can only support between 130 and 238 horses. Officials claim the current population is harming the habitat and posing risks to public safety.
The tribe rejects this assessment. It views the horses as an essential part of its cultural heritage. Tribal leaders accuse federal agencies of approving the removal without proper consultation or adequate review of effects on sacred sites and cultural resources.
The lawsuit also questions the accuracy of the population data. The tribe notes that the latest census took place in 2024 and fails to reflect horse deaths following a harsh winter in 2023.
The tribe is requesting a temporary restraining order from the court to pause the roundup until the legal case concludes.
Managing wild horse populations remains one of the most divisive issues on public lands across the western United States. Advocates for removals point out that herds can expand quickly and strain limited vegetation water supplies and other wildlife when numbers exceed the land capacity.
Opponents contend that mass roundups fracture social structures endanger culturally significant animals and depend on unreliable population counts.
The outcome of this court case will decide if the removal moves forward on schedule or faces further delays during the legal proceedings.
Mexico says it will pursue legal action against the U.S. following Tuesday's deadly shooting involving an ICE agent in Houston.
"Unfortunately, there has been another death of a Mexican national in the United States for being detained, when that person's only offense was lacking immigration documents, even though they had been hired by an American company," President Claudia Sheinbaum told reporters Wednesday. https://t.co/njV5B7VUzA
