Sport brings us together. Nature makes it possible.

On 10th October, 2026 at Aero Beach, the Swans Beach Touch Rugby Festival brought rugby lovers together for fun, teamwork and an important cause: raising cancer awareness, particularly breast cancer.

It was a reminder that sport can go beyond competition to inspire health awareness, solidarity and community action.

🌳Iganga S.S developed the Igabank Cooler, using evaporative cooling to keep vegetables fresh without electricity.
♻️ PMM Girls' School transformed plastic waste into useful products and built an e-commerce website to market them.
🪑 MM College Wairaka created affordable, durable plastic furniture for schoolchildren in island communities.

Iganga S.S emerged as champion, with PMM Girls' School as runner-up.

When girls innovate, communities gain solutions.
