Grumpy old Mr Yamauchi, Nintendo's big boss, did indeed threaten to scrap Gamecube – partly because he thinks that, in the future, handhelds like GBA will be so popular that no-one will care about traditional 'TV consoles'.
You only have to look at Nintendo's recent announcement of the Ocarina of Time remake to see how deflating leaks are or in a similar situation, the story for The Last of Us Part II. You got a problem with it? Stop giving leakers the time of day.
I love a physical game but I really can't be too mad at Rockstar for this. Leaks in games are so shit and they don't want it to ruin something over a decade in the making. The ultimate Edition however is really shitty behaviour
Rockstar Support confirmed that GTA 6 physical disc copies will be available in the months following launch.
“You will be able to acquire a physical copy during the following months.”
The current physical pre-orders are for the digital code-in-box version.
#ManCity had agreed an initial £106M with Nottingham Forest for Elliot Anderson last week and were haggling over the value/timeframe of add-ons. A compromise has been struck over a higher, one-off fee of around £115M to complete a deal.

Game Number 16: Super Mario 64 (Switch Online) 23/06/2026
Randomly booted it up the other week and decided I'd played through again to coincide with the 30th anniversary. Still one of the most enjoyable games you can play, fantastic from start to finish.
Game Number 15: 007 First Light (PS5) 21/06/2026
Cliché incoming: This really makes you feel like James Bond. An excellent mix of social and sneaky stealth, scrappy over the top action sequences and cut like a movie as much as a video game can possibly do.
Fun, huge fun.
