@ggalindo23@ArgonautGames_@Steam The right place is any place that actually sells you a product you keep forever, like GOG does, and not one that only sells you a license, like Steam. But glad you're happy.
@beoran5057 @DoesItPlay1 so by your logic, all PS1 games, which are all around 30 years old, and are still traded/sold everyday, are all dead? lmao. yes rot/decay happens, but its way overblown.

@timberwtv@fenfulness@PlayApex they're just using linux as a scapegoat. the vast majority of cheaters are on windows, and all cheats are exclusively made for windows.
this decision was either made by ignorance, or due to some ulterior motive. probably MS going full on damage control due to recall.

@Memetic_Hazard_@harvv@DiscussingFilm You dont know what you're talking about and are spreading misinformation. All the things you listed comprise only a small minority of games. The vast majority nowadays do still come complete on disc, and day 1 patches arent needed in most cases at all. Source: doesitplay .org
@Mattus_X@GhostRMCF@DiscussingFilm You are spreading misinformation. Owning games definitely didnt end with the N64 lmao. The vast majority of games nowadays do still come fully complete on disc. Day 1 patches exist, yes, but arent needed at all for most games. The website doesitplay .org debunks all you've said.

@LukeFox1233577@Pirat_Nation Steam's support is great, but you're acting like GOG's isnt. It is. They've answered all my mails, even when I asked stupid questions. And GOG's refund policy is infinitely better than Steam's: 30 days to refund, even after having downloaded and played the game during that time.
@JIncident2 @VidaSurrealismo@Shamrokh00@Pirat_Nation as you can see, 70% of game discs are flawless, and another 17% are playable with some minor issues, which means almost 90% of games are playable from disc, and dont need an internet connection or any patches.
@VidaSurrealismo@Shamrokh00@Pirat_Nation you're completely wrong. discs are not just keys. the website doesitplay .org proves this. the vast majority of games are complete on disc and playable offline, with no downloads required.

@JIncident2 @VidaSurrealismo@Shamrokh00@Pirat_Nation please check the website I mentioned before replying. you'll see you're wrong. I have over 80 PS4/PS5 games, and they all work from the disc with no patches, except Gran Turismo 7, MW2019, and NFS 2015, which are online only. Stellar Blade, FF16, Elden Ring, etc all work fine
