Luxury pet friendly self catering holiday cottages in the pretty coastal village of Trefin, Pembrokeshire, set in 13 acres with sea views across the Irish Sea
@parcelforce I was in when a parcel attempt was just made but a card was left. Is there anyway to track where the driver is so I can pick my parcel up. I’m catching a flight tomorrow and redelivery isn’t possible
@HMRCcustomers I’ve been completing a personal SA tax return for many years but recently applied to register a partnership. The partnership have received notice to complete tax returns for past years but these were done via my personal returns. How do I tell you ?
@HMRCcustomers I think I have managed to find the answer. In help sheet HS253 it refers to making elections on Self Assessment UK property pages therefore earnings from FHL’s can continue to be made on my SA tax return. I will dissolve the “partnership” as it’s clearly not required
@HMRCcustomers It’s a furnished holiday let not jointly owned property. As a FHL I was under the impression that I included profit on my SA. Maybe I should de-register as a partnership and just complete my SA as I used to
@HMRCcustomers We started renting out our holiday cottages in 2008 and at that time started to include the income on our personal SA returns and paying whatever tax was due
@HMRCcustomers Ok so prior to registering the partnership we declared the income on our personal returns. We registered the partnership from the date it started trading so 2008. You are now requesting back dated tax returns for years I have already declared on our personal returns
@HMRCcustomers OK but just to clarify the individual returns included all income from the partnership because we hadn’t registered the partnership. Surely I shouldn’t complete 2 returns and pay 2 lots of tax?
@HMRCcustomers So that’s what we had already done. My partner and I declare 50% of all income and expenditure on our personal SA. Partnership is now being chased for tax returns when I’ve already done included income and paid tax on personal returns
