Quick test for your beat store:
Send it to a friend who has never bought a beat.
Don't explain anything.
Ask them to buy the cheapest license.
Every question they ask is friction you can remove.
I’m doing the same test on BroLab this week.
@HouloudeTeamOff Regional pricing makes sense here because a renewal reminder that saves one surprise charge has a different perceived value in India or Pakistan. Did you localize only Plus pricing, or the renewal calendar and currency handling too?
@_a_m_i_t_1 Day 747 and playlists land right after the Faster Whisper transcription work. The interesting learning loop is letting a user jump from a transcript timestamp into a saved playlist, not treating those as separate features.
@rupal_developer Polishing notifications after Social and Profile broke is the right kind of boring work. Are you testing the full state path too: unread, read, retry, and duplicate delivery? Notification bugs usually live between those states, not in the bell icon.
@CLWDWLKR_ I miss that 2013-16 instrumental era too, but I don’t think a rapper has to be the shackle. The problem is discovery: YouTube stopped feeling like a crate and started feeling like MTV. Producer-led scenes need their own homes again.
Founders building for creators: do you design for the professional with a system, or the talented beginner without one?
Trying to serve both in one onboarding is where products get muddy.
@britinogn You already did the hard part with BizKeeper: a concrete promise for small business owners. Reqit needs the same treatment. “Postman alternative” is a category, not a reason to switch. Show the one API workflow it handles noticeably better.
I don't want BroLab to be “another platform for musicians.” Too vague.
The job is simpler: help a producer turn a catalog and skills into something a buyer can understand and purchase without a DM marathon.
@rewind02 A graph makes relationships explicit; it doesn’t add human reasoning by itself. The useful proof would be the same 40-second query succeeding after only retrieval changes. Without that controlled eval, “GraphRAG replaced RAG” is positioning, not evidence.
@de_henne Format plus checksum still can’t prove an account exists, so the bank-directory layer is the useful part. With 27 countries plus API and MCP access, how are you handling stale BIC and merger data: versioned directories or scheduled refreshes?
@KazTheBeatMaker Eight groups, patterns, sequences and VST support makes VU Studio much closer to a groovebox than an iOS sketchpad. Does MIDI pad velocity map cleanly into the desktop finger-drumming workflow?
@Keshavdotdev Since OTP auth and BullMQ landed on the same day: are you queueing delivery and retries instead of blocking the login request? That backend decision will matter more to the Notion clone than the first editor screen.
@maubaron Five copycats a week makes total openness expensive, but your own seven-month delay is more like staged disclosure than silence. Share the customer problem and lessons; hide the name, mechanics and acquisition channel until retention proves the moat.
I used to treat marketing as the thing you do after building. Wrong.
Every confused reply is product input. Every ignored post is positioning input.
Distribution is part of the build.
