Yeah why is oil down though? The strait sure as heck isn’t open…might have something to do with the biggest consumer of oil depleting its SPR to levels not seen since the 1980s…besides, as much as the data paints one picture, people’s grocery bills and rent hikes paint a totally different picture than the official government narrative. But who am I to trust my lying eyes.
What are you talking about Iran’s military has been Obliterated ten times over since April, and they desperately want to make a deal. The Russians ran out of ammo and men in 2022 and are fighting with shovels. Ukraine has won the war, we just need to keep giving them billions in cash and equipment because uh idk actually.
@JulianRoepcke Ukrainians use the Wehrmacht's "Festung" strategy.
Russians use Soviet tactics to counter it.
Analysts suddenly puzzled that the counter to the old strategy still works...
Germany was defeated in a hot war that cost millions of lives. Russia didn't even exist as a sovereign state until the Soviet Union peacefully dissolved in the 1990s. Germany was re-unified, and Soviet occupation armies were disbanded and recalled. Only one side didn't pull back its occupation forces, and in fact it increased control over Europe and expanded its military footprint, reneging on promises made to Soviet leadership. The Russians wanted a seat at the table, to be partners, but empire has no need for partners, only vassals. The plan for Russia was to be turned into what essentially Ukraine is, a dysfunctional country with immense human and natural resource potential, but that is kept in a constant state of poverty by vampiric oligarchs calling themselves global citizens, pillaging and raping the country. Figuratively and literally, the latter taking place in a certain private island.
@dmitryshchipkov Agreed. Nothing says Winning! Like sacking your commander in chief. It’s like when a Football club sacks a manager mid-season, they tend to do that when they’re at the top of the table and dominating the league.
@RPlanox That something is called coming to the realization that the other team is better than you in every regard. You cannot blame external factors for a team dominating you so bad you don’t have a single shot on target all game.
Nothingburger. China is trying to negotiate a better price, but they're not going to pivot away from Russia. Where else are they going to get their gas from, the middle east which is already getting choked off via the proxy war on Iran? Or from the US which is the one driving said proxy war and now just released intel claiming China has meddled in US elections? The board is clearly set up for a war with China in the next 3 - 4 years, and Russia likely sees that Beijin is going to need to reduce its dependence on shipping lanes that will be exploited by its rivals. Therefore it is looking to get a better price for its gas.
@Basssem666 Saw it in person and my impression was that France was never in the game. Spain dominated the midfield and just looked solid in defense. Very disappointed with the result and feel bad for Kiki, BUT, my God what a RB have we signed. Cucurella is a beast. Dude will pocket Yamal
Happy Friday☀️🌴
A great summer weekend ahead and a solid week in the books. Personal Friday Rule: Don’t blow it all at the end.
After years of hard lessons, I don’t trade on Fridays. If the week didn’t go as planned, do not try to recover losses today — that almost always makes them worse. Greed to “make it all back” or push for more can erase the hard work and discipline you built all week.
Options volatility spikes due to expirations, and the most productive use of the day is calm reflection, analysis, and planning.
Enjoy your family, recharge, and show up fresh on Monday. Your peace of mind — and those who’ve been waiting for you all week — deserve it. 💪
Quick Market Setup (based on yesterday’s close / pre-market):
• SPY closed near 751.70–751.71. Key support at 750 (PML + put wall).
• VIX at 15.75 (-0.57%) → low volatility, positive/neutral gamma regime.
• GEX Edge: Gamma Flip at 751.32, regime in transition near the flip.
Expected range 750 – 752.50.
• Call Wall (resistance): 752.50
• Put Wall (support): 750
• Pivot: 751.32
Bullish scenario: Hold above 751.70 → test yesterday’s PDH/PMH ~752, then resistance confluence at 753. Higher up, the only open gap sits at 757–759.
Bearish scenario: Lose 750 → PML ~749 and prior lows ~746.
Calendar: Light summer Friday with low volume. European final inflation prints (Germany/France), but no major U.S. events. Baker Hughes rig count later. Expect a tight range around SPY 750–752.
Bottom line: Market consolidating, VIX subdued, positive gamma. Focus on risk management, weekly review (what worked, what to improve), and next-week planning. No need to force anything.
Quote of the Day (for reflection):
“Patience is the key to trading. Markets always pay — but only to those who wait with discipline.” — Inspired by the legends.
Enjoy the summer, reflect, recharge, and we’ll catch you Monday fully prepared.

@Basssem666 It was sad watching him struggle on the pitch tbh, CR7 is a shadow of the player he was. It’s a shame a Portugal team worthy of him never coalesced in time to make a serious challenge at the WC. Father time is undefeated.
