An Ontario cement industry insider just sent me this warning:

Ontario cement plants EXPORT HEAVILY to the US.

Ontario has helped fund infrastructure to import cheaper cement from Turkey.

Now tariffs are crushing the exports into the US.

If American customers go elsewhere, Ontario could be left with excess domestic cement, while taxpayer supported infrastructure continues bringing FOREIGN cement into the province.

The insider’s warning is that Canadian trucking & plant jobs will be gone.

We export our cement.
We import Turkey’s.
And taxpayers help fund that infrastructure.
