@practicalgolf I think it clearly comes down to what is happening between the ears. Either the pressure is taking over or their practice sessions are addressing all the wrong parts of the the game.
@markr295@JeffVeillette Dubas?
That is who is responsible for a losing culture in Toronto?
The last time they won 3 rounds was in 1932, but Dubas.
The Leafs are the biggest con artist team in sports. They’ve produced 0 reasons for fans to pay the highest ticket prices in the league year after year.
Fall in love with grit
Grit is a "perseverance and passion for long-term goals."
Golf is a hard game that drives you crazy at times.
Your grit is what keeps you focused on a long-term goal of improving.
When you're frustrated on the course or range - grit is your friend.
@LouStagner Started on #10
This was actually my favourite round of the year because of how I responded on remaining 9 holes.
10 stroke difference between 9’s.
@MikeKellyNHL The waves of a goal scorer.
The maturity factor is what he does when he’s not scoring. I’ve been impressed with his overall game for a while now.
External accolades come and go.
True joy comes from finding a deep satisfaction in the process of getting better and playing this game ⛳️
Or at least that’s how I see it!
@LouStagner What! What does this even mean?
There are ZERO gimmes in stroke play or you are NOT playing stroke play.
What on earth is going on over there?
From exactly 6'0" the typical tour pro misses 35% of their putts.
Best golfers on the planet miss more than one out of three from six feet.
Should you try your very best to make every six footer?
Yes.
Will you make every six footer?
No.
#ManageYourExpectations
@LouStagner I obviously get why there is a pace of play but I can’t stand when it makes some golfers play stressfully fast. Sit back and enjoy your round! 3.5hrs-4hrs is what I expect when I go to the course. Sometimes less, sometimes more but no stress either way.
