Mike Hesson said, "With the ODI World Cup in a year and a half, we have to widen the group. Rather than always selecting the same players, the ODI squad is a work in progress. There are a number of areas we need to develop & we need to make sure that, by the time the World Cup arrives, we’ve got the best squad."
people gotta realize shan bats at 3 (and abd, imam, saim, hurraira, who have regularly gotten out early, have been opening)
babar has been horrendous and also plays in an important place and so i hope he gets back to scoring big
Since Shan Masood took over as Pakistan Test captain, Rizwan has scored the most runs under his leadership and is the only batter averaging 40+ in this period.
Most Runs under Masood’s Test captaincy:
Rizwan 1157
Shan Masood 1056
Agha Salman 995
Saud Shakeel 927
Babar Azam 709
74 years of cricketing heritage, btw.
We’ve won Test matches all around the world including in India, England, Australia & the West Indies.
We were world beaters as recently as 2016 under Misbah.
Now we’re fighting to “save” a Test match in Dhaka, just two years after getting whitewashed at home by the same team. So embarrassing.
@zchishtii thats woke and it should be the opposite, I’m p sure a valid question to a men’s captain before an intl series can be asking about a w-psl final or a women’s World Cup (ie big women event). Whether these questions are asked is a different topic (it should be encouraged both ways)
