@Mazrekuu12@Jvnior@deusimpera I’m aware of what the passage says. If you read in context you will learn that all of those unalived were culpable in the sins that led to war…the young girls weren’t culpable because they didn’t commit the sin that the others did.
@Mazrekuu12@Jvnior@deusimpera Doesn’t say that. You’re making assumptions without considering the context. Though it is likely that they were married, it would have to be done so in accordance to Israelite law. Additionally, in Num. 25 Israelite men were being unalived for laying with the women prior.
@Mazrekuu12@Jvnior@deusimpera The context is that they are assimilating the virgin women and children into Israelite community versus the alternative of leaving them to fend for themselves with no food, housing, or protection. The others were unalived because of their role in the acts that led to war.
@Mazrekuu12@Jvnior@deusimpera Midian was just destroyed doing anything other than keeping the 32000 would have been unjust as they were innocent when it came to the issues leading to battle.
@Mazrekuu12@Jvnior@deusimpera Context is key and contextually speaking there isn’t an issue with this passage. Cherry picking the verse would make it seem unjust, however looking at the whole passage and the events around it shows mercy.
@Jvnior@deusimpera Funny enough this is how they consent according to 5136: “How can we know her permission?" He said, "Her silence (indicates her permission).” Way to add to your “most authentic” Hadith.
@Motorsport 3-3-4 playoff accumulating points in first two rounds. The regular season champ and driver(s) with most wins get a bid to the final round along with a champ 4. The final round has a super speedway, intermediate, short track, and road course. Last round points winner is the champ.
I don’t understand how @Toyota is known for being one of the most dependable vehicles , but @ToyotaRacing seems to always have garbage equipment. Not a Denny bro, but I’d hate to seen him lose because of equipment issues . #NASCARPlayoffs
Connor Zilisch not winning the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship is a nail in the coffin for this horrible format.
10 wins and 18 straight top-5 finishes for absolutely NOTHING.
@jeff_gluck I’m a @ConnorZilisch fan, but congrats to @jesselovejr1 because he won the way the rules are set up. However, this is a perfect example of why @NASCAR HAS to change the championship format for both drivers and teams.
What a story here: 18-year-old Connor Zilisch wins at Pocono for his first #NASCAR non-road course win…and does it with NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. as his crew chief.
