My big question regarding Rocket League on UE6 is: when is this coming? If Epic is going to make us wait until UE6 is public before the update drops, is it really going to be another year/two before we get this? Some clarity would be really welcome about the timing of this all.
The right move, but man is it bittersweet. So many great memories on the game and in its enthralling, unique world. I'm going to miss it a lot.
That being said, I'm sure they're going to kill it with whatever comes next, and I can't wait!

For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.
Basically: If you want a cool, nostalgic/hughesian coming-of-age story centred around solid music, give it a play! If you're looking for something focused on gameplay, this is not for you (and that's OK!).
Just finished 100%ing Mixtape. Here are my thoughts.
If you're looking for gameplay, look elsewhere. This is basically a story with intermittent gameplay sequences woven in.
HOWEVER, the story, characters, and overall vibe was fantastic.
I don't have a heavy connection with the music itself given my age, but the songs chosen fit perfectly and I can see why they didn't want to add a streamer mode. It would ruin the entire vibe.
It's short, I 100%ed it in less than 5 hours. However, it's also only ~$25 CAD.
The perfect way to handle it in my opinion.
1. Didn't punish someone if the actions aren't something that would traditionally get you punished.
2. Recognized it was a dick move and reevaluate policy.
3. Made sure the players who got screwed are looked after. 10/10, good work.
Over the weekend, a player posted a video of them taking advantage of a map issue and going out of bounds to gain access into the Compiler room to ambush a team after they finished completing the encounter.
First off, we will have this issue fixed before Cryo Archive becomes available again.
In the past, we have not taken action against players going out of bounds, but due to this case heavily affecting other players negatively, we'll be reviewing our policies and sharing more details soon. While we don't want to punish players for bugs that they run into by accident, we will communicate more clearly the line that players should not cross when it comes to using these sorts of bugs that could be griefing others.
We will be reaching out to the affected players to grant them compensation for having their successful run interrupted by this issue.

Bro, I need a paper trail, not a scavenger hunt.
It was consistent, easy to follow, and had an insane amount of tension towards the end when it came to qualifying for worlds. Plus a crazy relegation tournament.
Streamline the system.
I can definitely appreciate Riot's efforts with the VCT "everything is a tournament" idea.
I will say that I don't think the issues with modern esports is because of leagues, I think it's because of overly convoluted setups.
The old RLCS/RLRS system was pretty ideal. A couple of matches every weekend against teams in your region culminating in a massive LAN event, and a pro league with a relegation system where the lower league was entered through open qualifiers.
Embarrassing. I've had harder popoffs after finding an Onion Ring in my French Fries. @NintendoAmerica should disqualify the judges for being softer than a Ditto's ass
I mean... yeah. But make no mistake - I wanna go back. REALLY badly, actually, and I know I'm not the only one. It's just, I've done all there is to do & there's no strong pull at the moment.
I've enjoyed all the new content we were given (dungeon, exotic mission, etc) but I don't have a strong desire to keep running it all back; there's no carrot for me right now to chase. Both sides of the game (PvE & PvP) need a lot of attention, but unless they decide to shut the lights off, I'm hopeful.
Feels like I haven't gone to my favorite restaurant in a while because I'm not vibing with the menu changes, and there's also a lot of GREAT new restaurants in town I wanna try out.
But man, the right menu changes... I'll come runnin.
When a bunch of your friends all get into the curling hype after the Olympics!
Perfect time to rent some ice, and teach them all the great sport in an afternoon!
Definitely inspired some new @CurlingCanada club curlers soon!
@PaulTassi@Lunnzies@asha_shar I see where you're coming from. That being said, you'd have to think they are keenly aware that gamers will write off any game before even trying it if there is even a whiff of generative AI use. Trying to use it at all would be a death sentence.
