When they call you Islamophobes, I want you to remember that 200 years ago, in Chios, 42.000 Greek Christians were massacred by the Muslim Turks and 52.000 were sold into slavery. Never forget that.

What most people already understand, even without the economic terminology, is that firms like BlackRock operate less like investors and more like modern feudal landlords.

They buy essential infrastructure, water networks, ports, energy grids, data centres, and other public necessities, often using vast amounts of borrowed money and paying prices that ordinary market participants cannot match.

Once the acquisition is complete, the debt is pushed onto the acquired company itself.

The result is simple: the public pays.

Consumers repay that debt through higher water bills, rising energy prices, increased fees, and declining service quality.

The infrastructure becomes a cash-extraction machine.
Profits flow upward to shareholders and executives, while the financial burden flows downward to ordinary households.

When the model inevitably breaks down, the consequences are socialised. Communities are left with crumbling infrastructure, polluted rivers and failing services.
Thames Water's £14 billion debt mountain and repeated sewage scandals are a stark example of what happens when financial engineering takes precedence over public stewardship.

The executives who loaded the company with debt have already collected their bonuses.
The investors have already taken their returns.
And when the system finally reaches its breaking point, taxpayers are expected to pick up the bill.

Privatise the gains.
Socialise the losses.

That is the business model......

Everything she believed. That they were French like her, fighting for the same cause. That the ones who warned her were full of hate. That she would be safe.

It all falls apart in this moment. She is terrified of what comes next. In her heart she knows.

Only remigration can save her.

JUST IN: The man who stopped the school shooting in Bend, Oregon, has been identified as 36-year-old Kalub Giamanco.

Giamanco, a carpenter, was reportedly driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots.

After hearing the gunshots, Giamanco, who has a concealed carry permit, followed the suspect into the school.

He then shot and killed 16-year-old John J Griffin moments after the teen opened fire into a special education classroom.

Giamanco, who has two children of his own who attend the school, is family friends with one of the victims, a 7-year-old who uses a wheelchair and was shot in the face.

The 7-year-old survived and is in the hospital.

Three children at Silver Rail Elementary School were killed. Their ages are 5, 8, and 11.

According to Giamanco's brother, Giamanco doesn't feel like a hero because he feels guilty for not being able to save more children.

You are a hero, Kalub.

UBC’s treatment of Steven Galloway is the biggest Canadian academic scandal in living memory, but the university itself has spent millions trying to cover it up and hasn’t investigated any of the main players. Annabel Lyon, who personally led the campaign to frame Galloway (and get him locked up in an Ohio psych ward), inherited leadership of the creative writing department after her putsch. Dean of Arts Gage Averill is now the @UBC provost, making $500K of taxpayer money every year. Keith Maillard, galloway‘s old mentor who turned on him like an absolute snake to ingratiate himself with the false accuser, retired in 2025. They threw him a big party, with everyone pretending his career hadn’t ended in disgrace. No major research university in any other country could get away with this malicious and incompetent behaviour without accountability.

The “loyalist” psyop is now in play in Canada.

After years of telling you that we are the world’s first post national state with no core identity and flooding us with millions of immigrants who don’t assimilate while pushing legislation that robs of us our rights to speech and property all while telling us that the monarchy are mere figureheads they now want you to embrace your “loyalist” roots and “fight back against the Americans”.

Well you know what?

No.

New Jersey, the 1970s. A girl is checking a long multiplication problem with a trick called casting out nines. Karen Smith loves it. Math feels like a puzzle.

Then her class switches to base 8. The trick fails. Most students move on. Karen cannot. She keeps at it until she finds that in base 8 you cast out sevens, not nines. She still wants to know why. That question stays with her for years.

In high school she meets modular arithmetic, the tool that explains it, and writes a proof that the method works in any base. On her own she starts imagining a geometry where parallel lines meet at infinity. She does not know mathematicians have studied it for centuries. It is called the projective plane.

A teacher, Mr. Drinfeld, sees what she is doing and opens an extra class for a few seniors. One of the books is number theory. Years later she says, “I loved it. It definitely made me a mathematician.”

At Princeton, her freshman calculus professor is Charles Fefferman, who will win the Fields Medal in 1978. He tells her something she has never considered. She could make mathematics her career.

She graduates in 1987, teaches high school for a year, then learns a math PhD can come with full support. In 1988 she moves to Ann Arbor. Her mentor, Mel Hochster, introduces her to tight closure, a new idea that becomes the center of her work. That fall she meets Finnish mathematician Juha Heinonen. They marry in 1991.

She earns her PhD in 1993. The thesis is published the next year in Inventiones Mathematicae. She goes to Purdue, then MIT, then back to Michigan as a professor. A 20-hour lecture course she gives in Finland in 1996 becomes a textbook in 2000. In 2001, at 35, the American Mathematical Society gives her the Ruth Lyttle Satter Prize and calls her a world leader in tight closure.

She and Juha raise three children, including twins. In October 2007 Juha dies of kidney cancer. The twins are four. Karen is a single mother of three with a research career still in front of her.

She does not quit. The children keep speaking Finnish. Every summer they go to Finland. Every week they bake Finnish rye bread. She keeps teaching, proving theorems, and training students. By 2017 she has written with 32 coauthors and guided 20 students through their PhDs.

In 2019 she is elected to the National Academy of Sciences. In 2021 she is elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Today she chairs the mathematics department at the University of Michigan.

It started with a trick that stopped working in middle school. She did not accept the failure. She asked why until she had the answer. Then someone told her mathematics could be her life’s work.

For decades, Canada has been seen as a 'model nation', internationally renowned for its high standard of living, safety & friendliness. 🇨🇦

Recently, it's been making headlines for the wrong reasons. Unaffordability, homelessness & addiction, rising crime, and a healthcare system so stretched that thousands are dying as they await treatment.

'Broken Country' is a new documentary that explores what went wrong in Canada, and what can be done.

One of the craziest parts of this is that Annabel Lyon, who helped lead the campaign to smear Galloway as a sex criminal, subsequently took over as UBC creative-writing director, Galloway’s old job. She’s there to this day, making $200K+. UBC rewarded her for ruining Galloway’s life

Merci Elon.

David Eby seems to think being a billionaire is something to be condemned.

Maybe he should take a look at what Jimmy Pattison has actually done for British Columbia.

• EXPO 86: Pattison worked virtually full-time for five years without compensation to help make Expo 86 a reality and putting Vancouver on the world stage

• Health care: He donated $75 million to St. Paul’s Hospital, described by the B.C. government as a historic contribution to Canadian health-care philanthropy. (BC News)

• Royal Columbian Hospital: He donated $30 million toward the redevelopment, with the new acute-care tower now bearing his name.

• Surrey health care: He donated $5 million toward the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre, helping fund equipment and attract physicians.

-Vancouver General Hospital: donated $20 million to VGH

-He made major contributions to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, Burnaby, Kelowna General and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. A 2024 grant record shows nearly $20 million in foundation grants in one year, much of it going to B.C. health care.

- Children’s health: the Pattison Group, has contributed tens of millions of dollars to B.C. Children’s Hospital, including $15 million for its family immunization clinic.

• Jobs and investment: The Pattison Group grew from a single Vancouver car dealership into a major Canadian business empire employing thousands of people.

So when David Eby looks at Jimmy Pattison and sees only “a billionaire,” British Columbians should remember what Pattison has actually contributed.

He built businesses. He created jobs. He invested in our communities. He helped put Vancouver on the world stage. And he has donated millions to help British Columbians receive health care.

We should be debating how to create more success stories like Jimmy Pattison not denigrating people simply because they achieved extraordinary success.

B.C. needs more builders, more investment and more ambition, not politicians who turn success into something to be ashamed of and using him for cheap political talking points

35 Year Army vet here.

Who in their right mind would want to go into combat with a so-called leader who was selected because of whats between their legs and the pigment of their skin? Nobody. This is why the Canadian military has collapsed. Anita Anand and the LPC. It's that simple.

If you want to see how a military should be led look south of the border. They dumped DEI, sacked all the DEI hires and voila, recruiting has soared. All other NATO militaries which cling to this DEI BS remain a slowburning dumpster fire.

The ultimate peer review is combat. DEI won't survive first contact and neither will the troops unfortunately.

DEI has got to go and the only way that happens is if the LPC is kicked out of power. Until that happens we'll have to live with a disfunctional military.

[NOBUNAGA🇯🇵🏯_夏樹蒼依 @japan_nobunaga]

Explain this to a Japanese person, because we are utterly baffled.

If a foreign network systematically drugged and raped tens of thousands of schoolgirls in Tokyo and Osaka...
If the police covered it up to avoid being called racist...
And if our government then handed citizenship to a foreign militant while letting rape ringleaders walk free...

Our cabinet would fall by midnight.
Every police chief involved would be in prison attire within a week.
The entire country would stand united in unstoppable outrage.

Yet in Britain, you are told to stay polite.
You are told to watch your tone.
You are told that anger makes you "far-right."

At what point did not offending the political elite become more important than the physical bodies of your daughters?

Politeness is a virtue.
Politeness in the face of child sacrifice is complicity.
