I've seen more "I can't find a Sr. Product Designer, the industry is fixed because of AI, etc., etc." than I want to admit. Each with over 100 replies from well-qualified designers. Here's the problem: expectations.

Now that Jr. roles are essentially disappearing, every designer is a unicorn in their own way. Unbelievable expectations + overly inflated job posts = a barrage of qualified designers who'll get rejected by leadership after 4 rounds anyway.
