@ok_post_guy Someone writing, producing, singing, editing, filming a slew of pretty remarkable songs when the rest of us were drinking and making sourdough is... incredible.
I hate this stupid website why do I log on.
Kevin O'Leary says most people waste $15,000 a year on stupid stuff like $5 coffees
"Stop buying coffee for five dollars and fifty cents"
"You go to work and you spend $15 bucks on a sandwich, what are you an idiot. It costs you 99 cents to make a sandwich at home and bring it with you"
"Bring your own water, your own drink or your own coffee mug. You start to add that up every day it's a ton of money"
"Most people starting on their job making their first $60,000 piss away about $15,000 a year"
@RoyalOakAcorn This is so much better than I expected for this space. I thought it would just be a big parking garage.
I pray this goes through. Some of the counties best restaurants and cocktail bars will now have a pedestrian friendly core.
this is disgusting from @MalloryMcMorrow’s comms director
Mallory if you’re still an oomf—cut this shit out
for those who don’t know: he’s a literal MD PhD Rhodes Scholar and is super open about how seeing for-profit healthcare up close made him leave his clinical training
@2024dion I'm not sure why you keep showing up on my TL - but this is Kansas City, MO.
The Lions Playoff game brought nearly 40million dollars to the city, and it blends so well into the city (keep it extremely walkable).
@_jacobmjones I mean, is this really correct? Buffalo, St Louis, Cleveland don’t have similar relationships with abandoned mansions buttressed next to new development?
My friend lived in a condo near Prairie District in Chicago that felt very similar to what is becoming of Brush Park.
@flaredet@2024dion That's unfortunate, but hopefully over time. Being walkable to every major Detroit sports league seems really appealing to me, once the dust settles in the area.
@detroitdevdoc The only real problem I see with this is the Detroit station is in New Center. For this to be a success it would have to drop you off closer to the stadiums. Does the rail line head closer to downtown?
