Dear President @CyrilRamaphosa,

You are the one who appointed National Commissioner Masemola because you recognised quality leadership. Please do not allow the noise from your comrade, who failed dismally in the Ad Hoc Committee, to influence your decision regarding the reinstatement of the General.

You informed the public that you were placing Masemola on precautionary leave until the investigation was completed. The NPA has since withdrawn the charges that were brought by IDAC, which were without merit.

We implore you not to allow any criminal cartel to influence your decisions. On behalf of the public, we ask that you act in accordance with your own undertaking and reinstate the National Commissioner. Any further delay creates a negative public perception regarding the influence that criminal cartels have over the Government.
