Our Making Queensland Safer Laws are having an impact on crime.

In the first six months of our stronger laws, the number of Serious Repeat Offenders recorded across Queensland fell by 17.5%.

Labor created the Youth Crime Crisis over a decade by weakening our State’s Youth Justice Laws. We’ve given our police the tools they need with Adult Crime, Adult Time, more boots on the ground and new early intervention programs.

We know there’s still a long way to go to fix Labor’s Youth Crime Crisis but we won’t stop taking action to restore safety where you live.
