The more I learn about AWS, Azure, networking, automation, and cloud security, the more I realize how much there is to explore.
Coming from Help Desk and currently studying for my CCNA, I’m starting to see how the fundamentals connect to the cloud.
For someone coming from Help Desk and learning networking, which cloud skill should I prioritize first: networking, IAM, Linux, or infrastructure as code — and why?

DHCP is one of those protocols you barely notice… until it breaks. 😅
No DHCP = devices may not get:
• IP address
• Subnet mask
• Default gateway
• DNS server
That means “the internet is down” can actually be an IP configuration problem.
